Our first ever Annual Charity dinner and Auction, in collaboration with Kings Arab Society, had a full house sell out of 200 tickets. Our guests enjoyed a night full of entertainment from Nasheed to poetry, a 3 course meal and our entertaining auction. Thanks to all the generous auction donors, we had over 25 items for auction and over 10 items for the raffle.
Overall from the extraordinary evening, we managed to raise over £4k. This went towards purchasing essential items that were packaged and distributed to the homeless in London and vulnerable families as part of our annual Winter Drive
Thank you for all your support and we hope for your attendance at 2023's charity dinner!
On a crisp autumn morning of December, Reformation Charity volunteers held a bake sale on King's College London Guy's campus to raise funds for charity. The bake sale, which was organised by a group of dedicated volunteers, was a resounding success, raising a total of £500.
As students and faculty members made their way to class, the aroma of freshly baked goods wafted through the air, tempting them to stop by the bake sale table. From savoury muffins and cookies to fluffy cupcakes and gooey brownies, there was something for everyone's sweet tooth.
The bake sale was a hit, with people coming from all corners of the campus to sample the delicious treats on offer. The volunteer team worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure that there were enough treats to go around, and they were thrilled to see such a great turnout.
As the day drew to a close, the team counted up the proceeds and were thrilled to see that they had raised a total of £500 for charity. The bake sale was a wonderful way for everyone to come together and support a great cause, and it was heartwarming to see such a strong show of support from the community.
Overall, the bake sale was a resounding success, and the team is already planning their next charitable event. We can't wait to see what they come up with next!
